A Commitment to Excellence
We aim at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.
Whether it is our books or hands-on training, we make sure each student gets personal attention to cope with and flourish in every subject for better scores and a brighter future.
Departments
The Sathya Sai School has three major departments: the Nursery and Kindergarten; the Primary; and the Junior High School.
The Nursery/Kindergarten Department
The Nursery has a 2-year duration, and the kindergarten also has a 2-year duration. Pupils are admitted at the age of 2 to begin nursery classes and by 4 years they are enrolled in the primary department at the age of 6. However, pupils at the age of 4 are admitted into the kindergarten without starting from the Nursery. At present ( April 2024) there are 60 pupils in the Nursery and kindergarten department.
The Primary Department
The Primary department has a duration of 6 years which conforms with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the Ghana Education Service (GES). The Sathya Sai School stands out from other schools due to the intensive infusion of Education in Human Values into the Academic lessons in the School. The 6 years duration at the primary department equips the pupils with moral behavior and academic excellence wherever they go. Even at this tender age they have the strong power of discrimination engrained in them and behave politely in public gatherings. The school has 70 pupils in the primary department as of April 2024.
The Junior High School Department
The junior high school department is the highest level at the Sathya Sai School. The School is hopeful to progress to the Senior High School, and then to the University level in the years ahead.
At present, there are 35 students in the Junior high school department which covers 3 years. External examinations are written at the end of the JHS studies. The Sathya Sai School, Old Tafo- Ghana, was the best-performing school with 100% passes in the Tafo District during the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination which was an external examination written throughout Ghana. The Sathya Sai school has held this record for 3years. This is a remarkable performance by the School and this is propelling the School for a solid and successful future.
